For AMETEK Denmark A/S in Allerød, HR navigator is seeking an International Sales Director for a key leadership role with global responsibility. You will lead international sales activities outside the Americas and play a central role in driving growth, strengthening customer relationships, and executing strategic initiatives across EMEA and APAC.

The organisation:
The company is experiencing solid growth and operates within a dynamic and technology-driven environment. You will be part of an international organization with strong market positions and ambitious growth targets.
You will lead a team of 8 Area Sales Managers located in Denmark (3), UK, Germany, Singapore, India, and China, and report to Global Vice President of Sales, based in Allerød.
The position:
You will be responsible for developing and executing international sales strategies across both direct and indirect channels. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on commercial execution.
Key responsibilities include:
· Driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets
· Leading, coaching, and developing an international sales team
· Managing key accounts, distributors, and strategic partnerships
· Overseeing forecasting, budgeting, and sales performance
· Conducting contract negotiations and pricing decisions
· Collaborating with marketing and product management
The role also includes leading a planned generational transition within the sales team, ensuring strong succession planning and long-term team development.
The candidate:
Expectations:
· Have solid experience from a similar international sales leadership role
· Bring +10 years of experience within technical sales/business development
· Have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets
· Have experience managing both direct sales and distributor networks
· Possess strong commercial and strategic skills
· Are an experienced leader with the ability to develop and motivate teams
Additional qualifications:
· Fluent in Danish and English (written and spoken)
· Additional languages are an advantage
· Willing and able to travel internationally
